TERMS AND CONDITIONS – BESPOKE AND ENGRAVED JEWELLERY

“Bespoke jewellery” means jewellery created to your specifications, or an existing design customised according to your wishes. Special terms apply to these purchases. By placing an order for bespoke or engraved jewellery, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time. The terms accepted when your order is placed apply to that order; later updates do not change an existing agreement.

§ 1. Before payment, we discuss the details and possibilities and agree on the idea and price. The bespoke process begins once the agreement is in place and full advance payment has been received, including design development before physical production. Payment should be made by VISA, Mastercard or PayPal through a payment link provided by Bjørg Jewellery ApS.

§ 2. Delivery time depends on the complexity of the piece and the time required by Bjørg Jewellery and the maker to create it. Delivery timing is agreed with you individually. Delays may occur, and we will do our best to keep you informed of changes to the schedule. Circumstances beyond our control, including transport delays involving DHL or other external providers, may affect delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

§ 3. Bespoke and engraved items are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to a change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights if the item has a production defect or does not conform to the agreed specifications.

Damage caused by wear and tear, impact, accidents or improper handling, including damage to stones resulting from these causes, is not a production defect.

If your piece arrives damaged or does not conform to the agreed specifications, please contact us so that we can assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. This may include repair or adjustment to bring the piece into line with our agreement.

A resizing or alteration service is available depending on the piece and the technique involved. A fee may apply. If we are not measuring your ring size for you, we strongly recommend having your measurements taken by a professional jeweller. Please ensure that the measurements you provide are accurate. Alterations required because of incorrect measurements supplied by you may incur a fee.

§ 4. Your piece will be developed according to the design agreed in our written correspondence and any accompanying images or sketches. A change of preference after work has begun does not mean that the piece is defective or differs from the agreed design. Any later requests to change the design must be discussed and agreed separately.

We will follow the agreed design as closely as possible. Sketches indicate how the finished piece will look rather than providing an exact representation. As each piece is individually crafted, small variations between the sketch and the finished jewellery may occur. This does not affect our obligation to supply a piece that conforms to the agreed specifications.

§ 5. Necklaces and bracelets are supplied in the lengths specified on our website. Custom lengths are available on request for most designs. Additional materials may incur a charge, which will be communicated before any work is undertaken.

§ 6. The contract of sale is concluded when you accept these Terms and Conditions and full advance payment has been received by Bjørg Jewellery ApS. These terms are available on our website for reference.

§ 7. The bespoke process begins once full payment has been received, including design development before physical production. Once this process has begun, we do not accept cancellations due to a change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights.
